Sports Beijing Five-Star Basketball
Fall 2009
Sports Beijing is pleased to be cooperating with Five-Star Basketball to develop community basketball programs that invite family involvement. The Fall 2009 Program is for players in Grades 9 – 12. Every weekday players attend a 1.5 hour training session where qualified Five-Star Basketball coaches reinforce sound basketball fundamentals using fun drills and enhance individual skills. On Saturdays, players from all the practice sessions meet at ISB, are organized onto teams, and then practice what they learned in controlled games. Volunteer parent assistant coaches are needed during the Saturday game sessions to assist with the team practices and games. Please volunteer to help out with a team on the Saturday Game sessions by contacting the Sports Beijing office at 6430-1370 and/or indicate your availability on the Sports Sign-Up Form. The Fall 2009 Program closes out with a special training session with guest coaches from the USA and/or a pro coach from China on Sunday Oct 25th. Spaces are limited in this program, so sign up early to avoid disappointment. |
