Sports Beijing Cheerleading

Sports Beijing is pleased to bring back our very popular Cheerleading Squad. We are extremely fortunate to have Ms. Kim Young Kyung as the lead instructor for the program. Ms. Kim, trained and performed with cheerleading squads coached by Cho Soojin, a well known Korean aerobics and dance instructor who has trained cheerleading squads that have performed during 2008 Olympic events, professional basketball games, major league baseball games and a variety of corporate and government events held throughout China. Ms. Kim is very experienced arranging team cheering routines that incorporate dance, tumbling and voice. The Sports Beijing Cheerleading program is open to girls and boys in the 3rd – 5th grades. Cheerleaders will learn several routines that will be performed at the end of the season at Sports Beijing events and possibly school events. So if you ever dreamed of being an LA Laker cheerleader then here is the place to start. . As always, parent volunteers are needed to assist in a variety of ways – please indicate your willingness to help with the cheerleading program on the Sports Sign-Up form during registration.
Ages: 7-11 years old
Dates: Fridays, April 10 to June 12 (No class May 1) Total 9 classes
Schedule: 5:00-6:15pm
Venue: Beanstalk International Bilingual School , Upper East Side Campus (Drama Room)
Fee: RMB 700
The cheerleading squad needs a minimum of 10 cheerleaders and is limited to 20 members according to the paid registration sequence.
