Sports Beijing NFL Flag Football

Fall 2009

We are very pleased to announce that Nicholas Krippendorf  will again serve as the head coach of our NFL Flag Football program.  Nicholas came to Beijing to head up the New England Patriots initiative in China.  He did extensive work with Flag Football on Chinese University campuses.  Nicholas played his college football at Brown University in the USA and is very will connected with local Chinese Flag Football programs.

This exciting sport is based on the American Football game but with limited contact.  Each session consists of drills to teach physical conditioning, pasing, running and tackling (pulling the flag from the belt).  Following the drill session the teams play a game.  Last year we were able to schedule games against local Chinese teams.  This year we hope to have even more games.

Schedule:          3:30 – 5:00 pm

Venue:              International School of Beijing

Fee:                   RMB 500

This program needs a minimum of 12 players spread across both age groups.
