REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The "VOLVO TRUCK" Indoor Soccer League organizes "5 a-side" teams into a league format for winter indoor soccer action and fun. The league is modeled after the Sports Beijing Youth Soccer League, where the teams meet each weekend for 30 minutes of skill development drills followed by a game. Each division in the league needs a parent to be the Age Group Coordinator. Age Group coordinators assign players to teams within their age division before the season starts, and help with communication to the teams during the season. A Sports Beijing qualified coach is assigned to each gym and leads the skill development drills with support from the parent team coaches. Then during the games the parent team coaches run the teams and the Sports Beijing Coach will referee the game. League standings will be posted to the Sports Beijing website each week. Players are divided into teams of 6 to 8 players.

Ages: Open to children born in the years 1995 - 2004 (children must have been born on or before December 31^st 2004).

Dates: SUNDAYS. November 25 to February 17
(No sessions on Dec 16, 23, 30, Feb 10)

This program provides an opportunity for skilled players to improve their game during the "off season" through a series of indoor soccer clinics and activities. Sessions focus on skill development and tactical play, with added fitness training and group scrimmages. The program will be run by Steve Aldred, a qualified coach with many years experience coaching soccer in Beijing, Hong Kong and Australia. Players intending to tryout for a place on the Sports Beijing Junior or Senior Dragons Development Teams are encouraged to join this program. Tryouts for the Junior and Senior Dragon Development Teams spring season will start at the end of March

Winter / Spring Sports Beijing "Capri-Sun" Mini & Mighty Dragon Soccer Development Team Program

Sports Beijing will be integrating the Advanced Indoor Soccer Training with the Mini Dragons and Mighty Dragons Development Team Programs again this winter and spring. The winter/spring soccer development season will run from January until June.Open tryouts for the Mini (players born 1999 and 2000) and Mighty (player born 1997 and1998) Dragons will be held in early January--all interested players MUST try out for the team at this time. We will NOT be running additional tryouts following spring registration. The players selected in the January tryouts will train indoors from January to March and then move outdoors for the spring season from April to June.
