Fall 2009 The Sports Beijing "Urban Ninja" program uses the basic techniques of Parkour, the art of movement, to teach you how to safely, efficiently and quickly move through a series of obstacles by using the abilities of the human body. This new program focuses on reinforcing discipline and positive social skills in a non competitive activity while you learn the fundamentals of safely climbing, balancing, tumbling, rolling, jumping, leaping and landing to increase your confidence in overcoming physical obstacles in a safe and controlled environment. In "Urban Ninja" no one sits on the bench … We jump over it!! Lead instructor, Mr. Khemit Bailey, is a Parkour expert, a black belt in Karate and military veteran who has been practicing Parkour, urban free-climbing and martial arts for over 15 years Age: 10 years old (Born 1999) and older. Schedule: Saturdays Sept 5 – Dec 5; 4:10-5:10pm
Schedule: Thursdays Sept 3 – Oct 29; 4:45-5:45pm Players should wear loose fitting sweat pants (preferably black) and t-shirt.
