BSA Troop 943, chartered by the International School of Beijing – Shunyi, offers a year-rouind scouting program for young men under the age of 18 and holding foreign passports, who have either competed the 5th grade (US system), or are at least 11 years old, or have earned the Arrow of Light in the BSA-Cub Scout program. Troop 943 is an active, boy-led troop that offeres high quality scouting experience designed to develop leadership, character, and personal fitness.  Troop 943 meets weekly at the International School of Beijing in Shunyi.  The troop also hosts a monthly outdoor activity such as camping, hiking, backpacking, skiiing, cycling, etc.  The opportunity for advancement through the BSA Boy Scout ranks is a natural extension of participation in an active, outdoor focused program. Since 1999 Troop 943 is proud to have produced 19 Eagle Scouts, the highest rank available in Boy Scouts.
