Sports Beijing 'Friday Night' Tennis League

The Sports Beijing 'Friday Night' Tennis League at the International School of Beijing Tennis Courts is for tennis players that socialize meet and compete in structured league formats!!! Greg Dorge is the "League Commissioner" organizing the matches and supervising the program. During the first session, players will compete with each other in a structured format to assess their relative level and ability compared to other players in their division. Following the first session, Greg establishes the most suitable league format and schedule for each division according to the number of players and their relative levels. Then each week for the remainder of the season, players will compete within their division. Weekly results are accumulated and awards for the top players in each division presented at the end of the season. Please indicate the player’s ability on the sign-up form. This is not a coaching class, players should already have practiced the fundamentals of the overhead service, forehand, backhand and understand the rules of tennis.

Ages:      7 to 18

Dates:     Fridays April 10 to June 5. No Class on May 1 (Total 8 classes)

Schedule:  Elementary School Division 4:30 - 5:30pm (first week only)
           Middle School Division 5:30 - 6:45pm (first week only)
           High School Division 6:45 - 8:00pm (first week only)
           (Note: The final schedule will be set and advised to all players after the first week session, but in general the younger players will play earlier in the schedule and the older players later in the schedule.)

Venue:     International School of Beijing - Outdoor Tennis Courts

Fee:       RMB 350

Schedules may change depending on the number of players registered in each division. Parents are welcome to assist in the supervision and reporting of results.
